It’s not supposed to be annoying when you show a movie in class, but let’s count down the three most annoying things my students did today:

3. Continuing a conversatino through the first 6 minutes of the movie, despite my repeated insistence that they stop. (They did stop eventually when I told them to leave the room).
2. Sleeping through the movie while sitting right in front of me. And it’s not like it’s a boring movie– it’s a fucking Western (Tombstone). About 10 people got shot in the first scene!
1. Asking, after I’ve introduced the film and explained why we’re watching it, “Umm.. so are we really, like, watching a cowboy movie?
