Andy Richter to reunite with Conan O’Brien

This is doubly exciting, because I’ll probably actually be able to watch Conan again, now that he’s on earlier, and I also have DVR, so it doesn’t even really matter when he’s on. Regardless– awesome.

I don’t know who’s teaching America’s youth how to spell, but they are doing a disastrous job.

well, apparently the computer repair shop around the corner is closed down, just like every other business in this town (except the bar).

loving that I have the Fox Soccer channel now (plus at least two other soccer channels).

Grading some papers while I wait to watch Manchester vs. Inter Milan (although it’s actually on ESPN, which has nothing to do with the first part of this message).

If it’s true that McNabb is threatening the Eagles (refusing to sign an extension– an extension he requested for a full year– unless they sign enough players to his liking) then I have to think he’s just trying to get traded. The Eagles don’t handle threats very well at all; they’d ship him out before appeasing him.

depending how you define the word “progress,” you could say I’m progressing on this book.

I like Samuel Dalembert even less when he’s whining about not being traded. At least he didn’t get called for goaltending during his interview.

a representative quote from Roddy Piper’s (not-so-great) autobiography: “I have never backstabbed anybody in my profession, but I’ll be the first to admit to front-stabbing them right in the face!”

Favorite comments from the Fall 2008 evaluations:

- Answering the question, “Which aspects of the course or instructor would you change?
“He is really liberal, likes to tell people about it”

- “Very judgmental on personal preference of how one writes.”

Answering a question about my sensitivity to disabilities, race/gender differences, etc:

-”Mcallistar are very supportive to all his student.”

Yes, yes I are.
