Everyone on the UMDNJ side of this story should be embarrassed.
Do we really need to have a court case to decide whether a man from Africa (who has since become an American citizen) should be allowed to call himself African-American?

    Wow. Isn’t that completely absurd. There is so much corruption of language and concepts in this story that I wouldn’t even know where to begin criticizing it. Of course the first baffling thing that comes to mind, is what type of course in medical science requires the students to identify their cultural heritage? Unless talking about diseases that effect certain actual physiological differences that tend to show up in humans descended from dark skinned Africans I can’t imagine of what import would even bring that up.
