sometimes, when I turn on Fox at 6:30 to watch The Simpsons (which, yes, I still do a couple times a week), I accidentally turn it on too soon, and that TMZ shit is on, and I get upset because I know I just inadvertently added to that shows ratings, and therefore its ad revenue, and therefore its longevity, and the whole concept makes me deeply unhappy.
