So it turns out that Kevin Reilly, that awful broadcaster from the Eagles preseason games, is a former Eagle who lost his arm (and 5 ribs, and a large portion of his right shoulder) to cancer. I still think his broadcasts are brutal. But interesting to know.

it’s amazing to me that my employer needs to send out mass e-mails explaining to people that the best way to avoid the swine flu is to wash your hands and cover your mouth when coughing/sneezing. Are there people who don’t understand these things still? If so, how are they attending/teaching at college?
