after yet another unplanned week-long break, I”m back to work on the book.

From a Star-Ledger article on the NJ gubernatorial election:

“For disappointed Democrats and Republicans, a decision to vote for Daggett will mean a break with party loyalty — no easy thing. What we’re suggesting is a temporary suspension of that loyalty as a way to begin changing the corrosive culture of Trenton. ”

Why should it be so hard not to vote for one of the two parties? Why the hell does anyone owe them any loyalty?

misleading stat of the night: the skins D is ranked 22nd against the run, but that’s only because no one has any reason to pass on a team that can’t score. Their ypc allowed = 3.8. Andy’s gonna give up on that run quickly tonight.
