first international soccer game = a success, although I did get inexplicably badly sunburned on my arms.

Going to see the US soccer team play Turkey in a World Cup warmup. Never been to an international soccer game. Have no soccer clothes to wear anymore, except maybe shin guards. Only thing I think of when I think of Turkey is this

trying to make a book happen.

unlikely as it may seem, I somehow forgot that my car was at the train station. Walking to get it, hoping it doesn’t rain.

holiday weekends lose a bit of meaning when you’re on summer vacation.

verdict on Village Whiskey burger: really pretty good, but there’s no reason to pay $11.50 for a cheeseburger when I could make a dozen of them at home for the same price.

to VIllage Whiskey in Philly to try the alleged best burger in the city (but not to pay $12 for a 2 oz. pour of any whiskeys, because, come on.)
