previous post retracted, because I chose to walk instead of taking a cab. Maybe not my best idea ever. But! Car fixed for very little money. Honest mechanics are worth their weight in gold.

I don’t like to spend much time griping about the suburbs (after all, you have to be kind of spoiled to complain about the inconveniences of owning a home in a safe neighborhood), but, man cab rides in this town sure do suck. $14 for 3 miles? You’re lucky it’s about 300 degrees outside, mr. cab driver.
